The NordicCanoes will be completely made by hand with great attention to detail.

At first, moulded parts will be mounted on a launchway so as to be correctly spaced apart. The moulded parts will then be covered with wood strips. Due to different colouring of the strips it is possible to obtain many different design variants. Of course, NordicCanoe would be glad to comply with your special requests in this respect to let your boat become a really unique boat.
The whole hull will subsequently be coated with a threefold layer of epoxide resin an one layer of glass silk fabric from inboard and outboard respectively. This working step makes your canoe wind and water proof and provides it with the necessary stability.
The parts to be built in, such as stems, inwales and outwales, thwart and seats, will be made from hard wood. The canoe decks will be made from rare wood, such as mahogany or cherry. The stems and wales will be prebent under water steam in order to afford an optimum support.
After expensively grinding your entire canoe several times it will receive a threefold coating of a 2-component polyurethane boat varnish for the necessary UV protection as well as shock resistance and impact strength.
